HOW TO KEEP YOUR COMPUTER IN A GOOD WORKING STATE
Over the time computer users experience crashes, lost of files slow Pccs and a whole lot more which degrades the performance. Computers are machines, an electronic machine which is based on both hardware and software in other to run effectively.
here am going to talk about factors that affects this performance and possible fix towards it.
Virus
virus are unawanted softwares which hinder, or slow down computer operation. they exist in various format and can affect your computer via the internet which involves visit to sites that contains malwares and web scripting virus that are infectious.
Pen drives otherwise known as flash drives, installed infected programs via compaq disc downloaded files or pen drives too.
Weather you are careful or not virus are sneaky not visible to the eyes although if infected you get to notice via unusual performance like slow boot process e.g boot sector virus, poor execution time and a whole lot. Although you might not even know, it grows gently. it gets worst to an extent you might not be able to access your desktop e.g BSOD's or even send files.
Staying safe.
Install an Anti-virus
Choose from a variety of Anti-virus manufacturers Avast Anti-virus, Kapersky, Avg, and lots more.
you dont just install an antivirus and expect it to do the whole job. for best performance manually and regularly scan and update the antivirus.
some people complain of avast been too strict, but i will ask you this, will you employ a slow lazy ass man to guide you or badass military guard? Its all about understanding the software's control system. use the comment section if you want to know how
Storage space
Most users do not understand that the higher files you dump and save on your P-c the slower it gets. delete files you no longer want or have use for, duplicated files and also corrupted ones, empty recycle bin and also keep your files in order (it aid easy file access and prevents unwanted file duplicates).
I will recommend you Ensure you have at least minimum of 40GB space of Hard drive remaining. avoid using storage till get below 30Gb.
Free from dust
I have been talking about softwares it time to talk about hardware.
do you know common dust can stop your P-c from displaying?
if you encounter a p-c that wont dispplay but boots try to clean the Ram slot.
Ensure you clean P-c regularly, use a blower if necessary.
Keeping the Operating system up-to date.
we are found guilty wanting to disable update due to data it consumes. unknowing to us manufacturers sends OTA update to fix flaws and also add more features to keep your computer updated with the latest.
