Earlier this month a friend posted about having been banned by WhatsApp for a period of few hours. After the timer he was able to use his WhatsApp few days later it happened again.

What to do
First, of don't panic n uninstall your GB WHATSAPP thinking it will fix that. You might lose your data.
1. Wait for the timer to count down to last, you will be able to access your account.
Tap the button at the top right corner of ur WhatsApp and go to settings/chat/backup allow backup to complete.

**goto file manager backup your Gbwhatsapp folder to be safe
** Now uninstall current whatsapp
** if you have normal whatsapp installed remove it too and delete its folder
** download the new version of Gbwhatsapp
DOWNLOAD TRY THIS IF THAT DOESNT WORK DOWNLOAD 2
**Goto your file manager Rename GB whatsapp folder to Whatsapp
**put your number and click restore, if restore is not successful close GB and open again and also ensure you rename the folder Gbwhatsapp to whatsapp and it is on your phone memory
**verify your number and restore your chat

2. Download the latest version of whatsapp from playstore
3. Goto your file manager Rename GB whatsapp folder to Whatsapp
4. Open the app on step 2
5. Register your account click on Restore button
Voila you are up and running
Whatsapp inc will be satisfied
After a while you can switch back to your GBWHATSAPP.
ALthough the main reason most people uses GBWHATSAPP is the ability of saving images and videos directly which Whatsapp doesn't have.

Some of You might want to know why but to me its funny that whatsapp knows users don't download their app from playstore and still at least add this mod GB did yet dey want to bann user for not using their official app. Yes its because huge numbers of users have adapted to the modified whatsapp which not a signed version of whatsapp.
